Icelandair recently opened their luxurious new Saga Lounge in the Leifur Eiríksson Air Terminal at Keflavík International Airport. Located on the top floor of a new building, the lounge features beautiful Nordic design elements inspired by Icelandic nature with great views of the runway, framed magnificently in the background by the stunning Snæfellsjökull glacier. At 14,530 ft2, the spacious new lounge, which was designed by Eggert Ketilsson and Stig Steinþórsson, is double the capacity of their previous lounge and features a cosy fireplace, a restaurant serving delicious meals, a children’s play area, showering facilities and lots super comfy seating and recliners for passengers to relax in while waiting for their flights.
Access to the Saga Lounge is reserved for those flying Saga/Business or Saga Comfort class with Icelandair. Find out more via the Icelandair Saga Lounge web page here. Passengers flying with Icelandair who are holders of the cards listed here can also access the Saga Lounge.
