A live performance of robotic instruments “guaranteed to blow minds and soothe ears” and some fascinating (and gorgeous) electronic samplers and synths sculpted out of wood are just some of the curious components of the Handmade Sounds concert coming up this Sunday, 17th December at the Mengi concert and exhibition space in Reykjavík. The show, which promises an evening of sonic experimentation, is supported by the Nordic Council of Ministers and hosted in collaboration with Einkofi Productions – an arts production company based in Iceland that supports creative projects in Scandinavia and Europe together with the multi-award-winning Curated Place from the UK. It features contemporary artists such as the Owl Project, from Manchester, England, the Danish/Iranian composer and sound artist ROSYAN, and Icelandic drummer/musician/programmer Halldór Eldjárn.

When: Sunday, 17th December 8:30 pm.

Where: Mengi, Óðinsgata 2, 101 Reykjavík
