The producers of Game of Thrones – season three, recently posted a new vlog (video blog) featuring impressive scenes shot in Myvatn, Iceland. By the looks of it David Benioff, the writer and director, was enjoying the authenticity the landscapes and extreme weather Iceland offers, and the cast and crew, though shivering with cold and some even growing icicles on their beards, seemed rather more impressed with the conditions than put out by them. I have to confess that I haven’t seen the show yet – I’m more of a read-the-book-first person; but after watching this I’m rather tempted to tune in for the season premiere, which airs on March 31st 2013!
