Oh just look at those eggs and that thick cut bacon! For me it’s the main attraction and a necessary ingredient of a Sunday morning. But the twist on this little bit of heaven-on-a-plate is the fact that they roast the eggs with grated cheese on top! I normally cook my own big breakfast on a Sunday, but after this “brunch” we had last weekend at Icelandair Hotel Reykjavík Marina, in the Slipp Bar, I’m tempted to go back this morning too! In fact I wouldn’t mind getting a weekendly subscription!
They have all sorts of other delights on offer – stuff you’d expect to see like fresh fruit and greek yoghurt, but also some delicious new additions to my food vocabulary such as Chorizo and Serrano ham and the extremely additive deep fried sausages on sticks! It’s one thing having great food, but even better when the service is top notch! If you plan on getting Brunch, look out for the fabulous shift manager Markus. A genuine great guy, whose personality amplifies the feel-good vibes present in Icelandair Hotel Reykjavík Marina!
